Default 2024 CX-5 Trailer Hitch

Is the trailer hitch installation the same for the 2024 as it is for the 2023? (I.e., frame size, location of bolt holes). Looking to install after market Draw-Tite Receiver (2” Receiver for bike rack) but unsure on fitment and the aftermarket hitch companies have not listed the 2024’s yet.

They only changed some small features, but nothing major on the frame/drivetrain. I don't see why it shouldn't fit.

Default follow up?

Just bought a 24 cx5 for the wife and have this same question. Did you ever confirm fitment? Thanks!

Class 3 hitch..... If you are going to be towing, I strongly advise getting an aftermarket transmission cooler. And start early on transmission pan fluid and filter changes every 25Kmiles.

As far as I am aware of and I didn't look it is universal coolers. If you do find an application specifically listing your MAZDA I would be more than happy to give you thoughts technical and personal about it.
I built my own with separate available parts.
Here was my project trans cooler

Have a hitch order for my 2024 and the dealer 'test' fit an older hitch and
they insist that it fits. so good to go.

My 2¢

I thought one of those values in the initial screenshot was the actual trailer weight.
Is that not correct?

i'll be picking up a hitch at some point for the same reason (bike rack) or if i'm in a punch and need to pull a small piece of rental equipment that's incorporated into a trailer from home depot (more than likely borrow the family truck instead of use my car)...install looks fairly simple...been looking at the allen sports bike racks on amazon
