Has anyone else had trouble with the carplay split screen functionality showing the album art when using the mazda nav? This is a 2021 CX5 GTR with navigation added by the dealer. I know the split screen should show the album art but mine does not.

 

long press the nav button when on the nav screen and select the entertainment option for the split screen.

 

I did and it works, of course. However, the album art does not show if plugged into the phone and carplay running. If the phone is untethered, it will show album art for Pandora and Bluetooth. So, what I am wanting is for the album art to show when tethered and in split screen mode on the mazda nav screen. My daughter's CX-30 will work just fine with it so I know it's not an issue with the cord or the phone. Thanks for the reply!
