Default 2021 Cx-5 Nav

I recently purchased a 2021 CX-5 GTR. I love the vehicle so far. I am now looking for an SD card for navigation. I bought one from Amazon that didn’t work. Is there anyone besides Mazda that sells one for the 2021? I have searched all I can here and google isn’t much better. Does anyone have the part number for this? Thanks so much. Joe.

You will most likely NOT be happy with the OEM Nav system. It's poorly designed. I stick with CarPlay myself and love it. I assume Android Auto will be as good.

Can you elaborate on the poor design? When I was at the dealer last week I heard someone mention that you could save yourself a few hundred by getting it from Amazon.

Unfortunately, Bob, I tried that and got the BHP EZ1K version from Amazon which apparently works on the 2020s and earlier, but my 2021 did not recognize the SD card. So back it went.

I'll be looking for a later version at some point. In the meantime, I'm using Apple Car Play which works great when you've got cell service. But on many of our back roads the cell service disappears and so does the navigation service.

I found what should be the correct SD card on EBay. TD2K 66 EZ1. I will give it a try and see if it works. I probably should have waited for the Amazon version to save money, but wanted it now. I looked in to Android Auto but I have a small data plan and prefer using the installed equipment. If I don't end up liking the Mazda system I will try something else. Thanks for your replies.

Thanks. Yeah, Apple Car Play here too and has the limitation you mentioned.

How did EBAY have 3 different prices for the same item - $279.00 - $395.00?

Different sellers. I paid $225 for the one I got. The guy for $279 accepted an offer of $225.
