2021 Carbon Turbo Differential and Transfer fill/drain washers
Hey Everyone,
Brand new here. Not new to servicing vehicles. For the life of me, I cannot locate the part number for the Rear Differential and Transfer Case fill and drain plug washers. Does anyone have a source on those?
Just an update. I went to the dealership because the washers aren't super easy to get ahold of and are often overpriced. Oddly, the dealership had a better price than anywhere else on the washers AND on the fluid.
The washer part number for fill and drain on both the transfer case and the differential is: 9956-41-800
$2.42 / washer
Fluid part number: PKSG1 SG1 FLUID 0000-77-SG1-QT LNG LIFE H
BTW, the dealership quoted $169.99 each for the Transfer case and Differential fluid change for a grand total of $339.98! Even spending the extra money on the fluid, which I could have probably got away with a cheaper more generic GL-5 or GL-4 fluid, I still save $253.17.
The washers are available everywhere none OEM package/marketed. There is nothing special about them. I buy them by the 20 pack less then 5 bucks shipped. But you asked for MAZDA washers.
If you looked at my response, I did actually give you the part number.
A good investment is to get a quality magnetic drain plug and replace the OEM.
It is always a requirement to replace any oil drain plug washer as per the FSM of many platforms not only Mazda.
The service time intervals for any system even the engine and especially the transmission should be less miles than the basic service recommendation.
In the case of the automatic transmission DONT go the lifetime without a service of the Pan fluid and filter service. It will not void the warranty and it will in all cases indicate what condition the transmission state of performance is which can help prevent issues when you get up and past 100K miles.

What is the ID of those washers? I'll get some at a parts store, but not sure what size. 16mm or so?
