2017 CX5 Touring parasitic drain
I bought5 the vehicle 2 years ago and have had a parasitic drain so every three days if I do not drive (I am retired so no work travel) the car will not start. The battery voltage will not engage the starter so I have to get a jump. Is there a common failing in these vehicles that draw down the voltage to such a degree and if not what is the best way to diagnose the culprit? I know I can have a charger/minder connected to the battery but that does not solve the problem and it should not draw as much voltage as it does currently.

Please don't tell me how long you have had it or what you think the age of the battery is.
Before any electrical problem can be diagnosed this is the first step.
The second step is to check the 4 point of battery cable connections.
DO NOT ASSUME they are all in good connectivity and condition with a complete inspection as follows.
The battery positive Terminal and connector
The battery negative Terminal and connector
The positive terminal and cable to the stater.
The negative cable at the grounding point.
The ground cable at the ground point should be removed and cleaned.
Thank you. I will start to work on this next week to make sure the connections are all secure. I did have the battery load tested and it showed that it was fine this at a AAA and they are in the business of selling batteries. Tested at 545 CCA and the battery was rated at 540CCA.

The battery test you had done tells me they are using old testing equipment. I would suggest to go to a Pepe Boys Auto or NAPA Auto Parts even Firestone all many in your area and have it tested using better equipment and at least a person that is at least shown how to use the testing equipment.
Based on the first reasons if your battery has been discharged that many times then I am very surprised as to the results of the load test? Unless it was a a dry battery like an Optima or other AGM type. A fluid or wet battery does not do well being discharged multiple times bellow 10 volts.
