Just bought a gently used CX-5 GT with 18,000 miles on the clock Sunday. Lease return. Was originally looking at a CX-3 GT but landed this one for pretty much the same money. It does not have the Technology Package but other than that it's got all I want. Having the Home Link installed at the dealer in two days. Anyway, can someone tell me the difference between a 2016 and a 2016.5? I got a copy of the window sticker from Mazda and was surprised to see that my car is a "2016.5" model. Thanks in advance for the help.

 

since you dont have all the tech options i dont know if this would apply to you .. but i remember reading for the radar cruise control the 2016 model would only slow you dont to 20 mph unlike the later models which would Stop you ( if need be)

 

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately (or not) my car isn't equipped with the radar cruise control feature.
