Hello

I am a new member in the form. Also I newly bought 2016 Mazda CX-5 sports. My coolant level is between H and L level. I am looking a coolant. I already checked some auto shop, they don't have specifically coolant for 2016 Mazda CX5. Does anybody know where I can get a right coolant for my car?

PS: I don't want to go dealer service for only filling up coolant.

Just top it up with distilled water. Either that or pay the man (dealer) $15 for a gallon of fl22.

 

Are you checking the coolant when the engine is cold, warm or really hot?

Cold, should be at the L ( low)
When its running really really hot it may reach H ( high )

I usually check it when the engine is cold. The coolant level shows 2 cm top of the L level. Okay, I will check it when the engine is warm and hot.

I called my local mazda service, they said same thing "when the engine is cold, the coolant level shows closed to the L level. when the engine gets warm and hot, it reaches H level"
