So several electronics have stopped working in my car: navigation, usb ports, clock, etc. Was told it was the communications master but I cannot find anything online about the communications master. Can someone direct me to the part number or where I can purchase? Also, is this something I can do myself or do I have to work with the dealer?

 

Do you have a nav card? Also what version is your CMU (Conectivity Master Unit) as the latest version is 74.00.230 and fixes a lot of common issues from the older units.

 

Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure what you mean by a Nav card? I'm also not sure how to determine my last update. Any additional help is greatly appreciated.

 

The navigation card installed in the rubber flap near the USB ports in the SD slot. If not, go into the settings of your CMU and go all the way to the right (im not sure on the exact tab) but all the way at the bottom of the right most tab should say "Version Information" and it should say there
