2016.5 CX5 texting

2016.5 CX5 texting
I was reading the specs on the new 2017 CX5 and it mentions being able to receive texts. Will my 2016.5 do this? How do I set it up? If not, is there a software upgrade that will enable this feature.

Using an iPhone my CX-5 will receive a text and offer to read it aloud for me. If I'm not moving it will let me read or hear the text.
I didn't have to do any software upgrades, it worked 'right out of the box'.
Check your owner's manual as Paris suggested.

I does work, I recollect having to check the Bluetooth settings on my iPhone to make it work.
