2014 MAZDA CX5 -Audio and IPOD

When I try to shuffle songs over a Bluetooth connection with my iPhone 5, the first song is picked randomly, but then everything after that is in alphabetical order and not shuffled. Not useful.

All you have to do is select shuffle on the phone.

It takes no less than five minutes for my 2014 CX-5 to load my iPod or any USB drive. This is completely unacceptable. Hopefully Mazda will fix this via firmware soon. If they fail to do that, maybe someone will at least put together a class action suit.

I'm getting my CX-5 tomorrow, but as a long-time Miata owner I can tell you that Mazda has always been behind the curve when it comes to consumer electronic interfaces...

I am sticking with my 4GB iPod so it loads faster (relatively. but slower than normal) and the first thing I do is tap the shuffle on the touch screen console. It is somewhat better this way but even the shuffle is not totally random. It plays in the same order a lot of times.
Also I am noticing a buzz on the passenger side speaker. I am going to take it to service since it is under warranty. This car is cheaply made.
I am calling support every week and complain the same thing. I urge all customers do the same. Take 5 minutes once a week and call and complain about the same problem.
Each time they call, they say that they are aware of the slow loading times. They also say that starting from first song is as designed. Who the **** designed this system?
