2013-2019 CX5 hazard switch latching or momentary?

2013-2019 CX5 hazard switch latching or momentary?
Hi Everyone,
I'm doing some vehicle research and can't easily get my hands on one of these. Does anyone know if the hazard switch is mechanically latching (says 'in') when pressed or if it's just momentary sending a pulse to the control module.

Sounds like a defective switch. My 2014 switch locks down when pressed and releases when pressed a second time.
