Default 2 mode control buttons
Hi, I'm new, this might be very simple but, why is there 2 mode selector switch buttons for the heater in 2018 mazda 5, with dual enviroment control , one with an up arrow one with a down arrow?

If I understand your question correctly, the up and down arrows control fan speed.

Nop, there is fan speed control , the buttons are for mode control

called a nice Deller, got answer, one button toggles through in one direction and the OTHER IN OTHER Direct........crazeeee
