Unhappy Very low outgoing phone volume on both bluetooth and Android Auto

Just got my 2024 Preferred two days ago. Called someone to share the good news. They said they could barely hear me. Thinking it was their phone they turned the volume up on their end, but then I got out of the car (disengaging bluetooth) and almost made them lose their hearing. I've tried re-pairing car/bluetooth, rebooting my phone, calling myself and leaving a message both through Android Auto and just bluetooth, clicked through all the car and phone settings. I think this is a known issue, though I'm not finding much aside from a post or two on Reddit. It's a bit frustrating that I can't make calls. I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow, but it feels like it should be an easy fix. Someone on Reddit mentioned they were told it was a software thing. Anyone here have any ideas? I know it isn't my phone. Worked great on the car I traded in. Thanks!

My month old 2024 CX-30 has the same issue. Quite a few folks have reported it on the Mazda subreddit. I went to the dealer today and I have an appointment Thursday for them to look at it. The service guy said he had dealt with a 2024 cx3 with that issue and they swapped out the CMU, but that didn't help.

you can only alter the volume on maps when he or she is speaking giving you the direction using the volume contriol **** on the transmission tunell perhaps it works the same with the phone. Could you use volume up button on you phone to raise the volume
