Default Bluetooth not remembering pairing

I've seen the thread about Bluetooth issues but the only solution offered in that thread is to turn off the WiFi. I have a feature phone, not a smartphone, so no WiFi.
I can pair my phone, make and receive calls on it, etc. Until I get in the car once with my BT turned off on the phone. Or until I am on the phone when I start the car. The only way I can pair the phone back up is to delete the phone from the car and delete the car from my phone and pair them all over again.

Anyone else have this?

Mine occasionally won't connect to the phone but only once every few weeks and I haven't found anything in common with the times it doesn't. It has also done it with different phones.

That being said, if I'm on the phone when I start the car it automatically transfers the call over to the bluetooth.
