Default Side mirror defogging

I have a US Premium AWD, and was wondering if anybody's side mirrors don:t defog when the rear defogger is switched on? The owners manual stated that they do, but there is no indication that they are doing anything different than usual! Any ideas or inputs on how to check if they are really working?

There is nothing to indicate they are working.

You could use a infrared thermometer to test the temperature of the mirror glass before turning on the demister switch and maybe every minute after for 5 or 10 minutes.

The dealer says my car doesn't have them even though it is stated in the owners manual. What's up with that?
He stated that unless the mirrors have those squiggly lines printed on them that they don't defog!

My US 2023 Premium Turbo AWD definitely has heated side mirrors. There is no obvious indication of them being on you just have to observe. The area around blind-spot indicators on the mirrors don't heat. There will be a visible difference. I’m not sure if they kick-in with the rear or the front defrost.
