CX-30 Vs Rav 4 Hybrid
I have been looking for a slightly used Rav 4 Hybrid for my wife, as she wants a economical car (she uses a work Rav 4) that ticks a few boxes if possible. The Rev 4 Limited has all the bells and whistles, but bloody hell they cost a packet here in NZ.
However, I saw a Mazda CX-30 Takami (top of the line) 2.0ltr that might be a better option. Wondering what you guys here think?
Its done about 30,000km, its in pristine condition (1 lady owner and full service with the same deal who is selling it).
It looks and feels like a brand new car, and is offered at $36kNZ.
My wife drives about 75k for work each day, so economy does come into play. I said however, that she would pay around $50k+ for net even the equivalent “drive” on a used Rav 4. And they don’t even have real leather seats!!!!
Anyway, this car looks a 100% sexier than a Rav (LOL), and I think it might be a better overall vehicle for plush comfort luxury, and economy if we take into account the price/fuel over time.
Any thoughts guys?

Not knowing anything abt the Mazda mild hybrid I can only assume its little gain over a full hybrid. My own experience is with Toyota being contracted to produce a training course on their hybrid and yes they are exceptionally reliable so the cost saving and admiration is your choice. Mr. Bombastic will probably step in to try to discredit me but ignore him. He has no solution but is full of BS.

Just looked up the Mazda Mild Hybrid. Man that technology is over 20 years old. I remember discussing it at a SAE meeting. Impressive at the time but never thought it ever became anything. I'm sure Cassie see's them every day. LOL.
