2026 CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
My lady friend has a '23 Lincoln Corsair, with the lease expiring in June. She wanted to go look at the new Corsair. I went with her, as she doesn't have a lot of confidence or knowledge about car dealers and their tactics.
We looked at a new one. The sticker was $59K. I convinced her to go with me to the Mazda dealer, just around the corner. She started eyeballin' the CX-30.she liked the smaller size and the general look.
She is real picky about colors though. She wanted some kind of a medium grey with that deep ceramic wet look. Mazda doesn't have anything like that. I steered her to a new CX-30 Turbo, in the Aero Gray Metallic paint, with a black interior.
At first, she wasn't too keen on a turbo, but the salesman and I convinced her it's a real nice thing to have that extra torque, and the mileage is still good at 22/30. I have a '22 CX-5 Turbo, and it's been a joy, 100% reliable.
She went for a test drive, and liked the way it felt.
We're going back soon to talk numbers. I think it will work out for her, with my help.
I'm pleased to have steered her towards Mazda, a brand she originally wouldn't have considered.
What kind of discounts are new buyers getting off the new 26's now?

We have a 2021 Mazda CX-30 Premium - but without the turbo (it wasn't available yet). We have had it more than five years now and it's been pretty good. It's not a speed machine, but I would hardly call it a slug. I also love that it has six REAL gears in the automatic transmission and is not built with a CVT.
Mazda has stepped up their game - undoubtedly. Probably less trouble down the road than a Lincoln too.
