Question Locking/Unlocking problem

After standing Locked overnight, the car will not Unlock using either key fob. Press the Lock button 4-6 times, a faint click is heard from the car and the indicator lamps flash once. If the Unlock button is pressed now, the car Unlocks. Locking and Unlocking is fine now for the rest of the day. Guess what happens the next morning! Batteries are OK in both key fobs and the keys in the fobs work fine in the door.

Welcome to the forum

The first thing regarding any electrical issue is to have your battery load tested.

Without knowing the current state of health of the battery any diagnostic electrical supplied issues con not be done to the best trouble shooting steps.

Um this would be you!

The door locks as well the system on your Mazda needs the battery. BEFORE any problem that involves the electrical system (including remote keys) the first thing is to verify that the battery is in good state of health.

Dude if you took your Mazda to any quality service shop with anything regarding electrical they would check your battery first!

And i should add its common sense.

Next time you ask for help why not take your own response advise. Quote"

Um this would be you! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

These are battery power components both need to have a healthy onboard battery to make sure that the issues is not directly or indirectly causing any electrical component not to function as it was designed to..

Your lack of comprehension is amazing for a Senior in this Forum. It happens once a day, in the morning. I can stand for many hours after the procedure I use, and the locks work perfectly. That really sounds like a battery problem to you does it? I have noticed several other similar complaints from other Models but nobody seems to have any idea what causes it (considering the fact that we all could have crook batteries that do everything else that is required of them except unlock the doors). Now, is anybody ELSE having Unlock problems with their CX-3 whilst their battery has plenty of power to start the car when the door is eventually opened? Shh, don't tell that other bloke that's got his knickers in a twist.

Well this is why you will be long to find your problem, you don’t read the advise giving. For me to continue to help a member that has an electrical issue I need to rule out the power supply first. Lol

Also when you state “nobody” seems to be able to find the problem, this goes without saying you are asking the wrong people or not the correct people?
If one of my techs or myself could not find you issue in an hour or less I would worry about their abilities . lol. 😂

If you were a little more receptive I would normally give what type of service shop and exactly who you would need to look at your issue, but not now. Lol

You can however look around the forum and find that recommendation I often give to members that are not asking for help and then disregard the first advise given.
