Water Pump Problem

Default Water Pump Problem

Somebody has had to replace a water pump and if you did where did u use the the little O Ring that comes with the new gasket. It has to go some where andy help would be greatly appreciated

the only place that comes to mind is,the heater crossover pipe on my 2600,hooked into the back off the pump with the o-ring on the pipe lubed with some silicone spray and press fit into the pump then used the mounting tabs on the pipe.

thanks for the respond but i have checked it over and over and just dont see a spot. The thing that concerns me is that it didnt smoke when running except for some blue smoke that stopped after you ran it awhile. After i changed the water pump it smokes with more of a white smoke.
