speedometer/controls light not working

speedometer/controls light not working
i have a 86 b2000. my speedometer light and controls for the fan and all that stuff do not work. my radio works fine. my exterior lights work fine. my dome light also works fine. could this be just the bulb? or could it be something else? ive checked my fuses and none seem to have blown. any ideas? thanks!
