Default RE: Sensor That Screws Into My Intake Manifold

Does the sensor that you are talking about screw into the intake manifold at the very front and has ( or had ) two metal prongs protruding from it where the connector plugged in? If so then that is called an intake air thermosensor and is used to tell the engine computer what the temperature of the incoming air is. If your truck has a build date of january 1, 1990 or later then any later model year sensor will fit. If built before that date then will need to find older model year. The build date should be on a sticker on the drivers door jam near the door latch striker.
