need help.

i bought a 2000 mazda b2500. wiring probelm on alternator. the connector with three wires going to the alternator. the center wire. white and black comes off the alternator about 5 inches and just ends. fraid wires no connector. where is it suppose to go. cant find a decent wiring diagram.

this truck is the same as a Frod Ranger 2.5L. Wiring is for '95 and later:

White With Black Stripe Wire - From Alternator To Built In Voltage Regulator

Ford Ranger Wiring Diagrams at The Ranger Station

I hope that gets you on the right track.
