Hi everyone I have a 2000 Mazda B3000 pickup cab plus and the lock and unlock button on my remote and on the door console does not work all the time on both the driver and passenger side. More recently they have been failing to work alot and i have to use the key to unlock the door (manually). I dont think it is the remote battery because when i hit the buttons it looks like the lock is attempting to come up and i can here it working. The car also still beeps when i hit the lock button just the locks do not go down. What do you think the problem can be?

 

where is the power lock relay located on the 2000 Mazda B3000 cabplus

 

It could be under the hood or in the cab. My guess would be in the cab fuse block, but also check under the hood.
Just follow the diagram on the underside of the cover(s.)
