Default Bank one sensor one replacement! update: replaced, but not resolved

I've bought the part, and the special socket, and I've put the car on ramps. I can get the socket arund the part only because my arms are so tiny. What am I missing about this repair? Larger people than me do this every day, so there must be some easier way to get to the part? Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get up there and open that bolt?

never mind, I got it replaced. However, the car still runs like crap. Lurching and sputtering when in idle. I had them erase the codes and hook the reader up again, but after erasing it showed no codes. How long would it take after erase for the computer to show new codes?
