Default late model MIata seats in a B2600i or other options?

Hello Mazda world. I’m resurrecting an 89 B2600i 4x4. It had been asleep for years and I went crazy with a new cylinder head, rad, water pump, clutch, rebuilt trans and a bazillion other things. 15” alloys from a late 80’s/early 90’s yota. Fresh 31” Firestones.

200k and she runs like a top. A mild lift and body cleanup is next. I’ll be leaving it kinda “rough” since thats my style lol.

My truck has the original buckets with a center console. I’m considering some 2019 MIata seats to upgrade the stockers. They appeal to me as everything is manual. And of course they are Mazda lol. I have a buddy with one of these cars and the seats are pretty swell to sit in.

One of my other buddies is the best fabricator I know so he could make them fit.

Any words of wisdom? Perhaps its a known thing what seats bolt in or are an easy swap?

Thanks all!
