The temporary (doughnut) spare on my 1988 B2200 is dry rotted and won't hold air. An exact replacement for the original spare is hard to find and expensive. I was wondering if the space under the bed would accommodate a full-sized 14" spare tire. Any of you Mazda truck owners have a full size spare?

 

I do, so yes get a full size wheel and tire for under the truck bed. I've had this on my 1988 B2200 for 2 decades, always rotate my best to the spare when I purchase new tires.

I got my matching wheel at the parts yard.

 

OK, good. I'll do the same thing. Ebay has used white Mazda truck wheels for around $70 shipped....hope to find a good one in the junkyard for less.
