I try to crank my truck, and the fuel pump want come on, no gas at all? What could be wrong? Think its a short somw where?? HELP?

 

Have you already swapped the 2wd A/T into the 4x4 M/T that you talked about earlier? The fuel pump or circuit opening relay gets energized during crank thru the crank circuit via the clutch switch or inhibitor switch. To see if this circuit is the one at fault, look for a yellow colored connector in the passenger side rear corner of the engine near the wiper motor. It will not be connected to anything as it is the fuel pump check connector. Two wires to it, the first being Blue w/ Green stripe, the other solid black. Use a jumper wire to short these two wires together and see if fuel pump will now run and engine start up ok.
