n e body got some suggestions about my carb driving down the street today felt like my carb got stuck on wide open throttle. it revs high. it doesnt want to idle back down after depressing the gas pedel. im thinking of getting a new carb sometime this week. open for n e suggestions for quick fix need truck for work.

 

Check the accel cable and linkage first. If it has cruise control check that cable also. They are pretty easy to remove and since you will have to remove it to replace it, it would behoove you to do that and check it over well before replacing it. Sounds like something simple to me.
