Default Carburetor adjustment

I am assuming this is going to be an adjustment. Went thru the DEQ and they said the truck was running high on hydrocarbon (CO) output. Passing is less than 1. Tester said I hit a high of 5 at one point during 2500 rpm portion. Idle CO is fine. Can I make this adjustment or do I need to have a mechanic do it? If I can do it, where do I adjust it?
