Hello,
I'm on the island of Bonaire with a gasoline BT-50 that according to the VIN is a 2008 made in Thailand. The low pressure pump in the fuel tank has failed, and I'm not confident that I know the correct replacement to order.
The truck still runs ok but only if the fuel tank is above 3/4. Instead of replacing the in tank pump, would it work to add an inline low pressure pump installed in the fuel line by the fuel filter? Would it be dangerous to try it?
