Ive got a 90 mazda b2200 5 speed starts and runs excellent can pull out grab 1st grab 2nd then 3rd and it just falls on its face like it runs out of gas. let off the gas get back into it and runs excellent go wide open throttle and it does it again smokes a little too. any suggestions?

 

First (and easist) thing to try is to replace the fuel filter. That's under the air cleaner near the firewall, passenger side, on most carbureted ones with manual transmissions. Otherwise, underneath truck for automatics and fuel injections.
