HEY FELLAS, MY B2200 HAS GOT A PROBLEM, IF I AM SITTING ON A HILL NOT EVEN A STEEP HILL, I PRESS ON THE GAS AND THE ENGINES SHUTTERS, AND THERE IS NO POWER, THEN IT DIES. I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND WHILE ITS BARELY RUNNING KEEP PUMPING THE GAS TO KEEP IT GOING, THEN A MINUTE LATER IT WILL START RUNNING GOOD AGAIN. IT DOES'NT MATTER IF YOU ARE AT A STOP OR AT SPEED. I REPLACED THE EGR VALVE, NEW PLUGS AND WIRES, NEW FUEL PUMP AND FILTER, ALSO THE GAS GAUGE DOES'NT WORK, I DONT KNOW IF THATS CONTRIBUTING TO IT. THANKS SO MUCH!

Possibly fuel contamination. They had a problem with the tank coating coming apart. Also water seperates in a gas tank from the gas and wanders around the tank in pockets. Could be if on a hill it picks it up.

 

sounds like you have some obstruction in your gas tank..same thing happened to me it was the cardboard out of the lid of some fuel additive took it out hasnt had a problem since

 

Check the timing belt, myb2200-92did the same, after i changed the water pump.

 

i'd go carb. float valve or something of the like.

 

accelerator pump. whatever, carb problem.

 

Check the timing belt alignment marks!!
