Default '87 B2200 ignition switch alternatives

Just picked up a B2200 the other day. The previous owner said that it had been taken for a joyride and parked at his house the next morning. So the ignition cylinder and switch are completely broken. I have this chip that I bought a while ago (ls7220) that you can make your own keypad ignition with. Like you type in a 4 digit password that allows you to turn your car on. Anyway I would like to know if anyone can tell me what each of the wires to the ignition switch do. I can't find a wiring diagram online and I do have a haynes manual being shipped to me right now. But the sooner I can start the car the better.
