Hey all, I’m new here. Have a 07 B4000 that stopped starting for me the other day. Seemed like the battery went dead. Popped the hood and the battery terminals were all corroded. I cleaned them up as best I could where I was, called a friend for a boost, got the truck started and went straight home. Once the truck was turned off it wouldn’t start again, and acted as though the battery was dead. I then replaced the battery terminals, charged the battery and tried to start. The dash lights will come on and go off, relays are clicking away, and the truck will not start. The best I can get is a click from the starter, but that’s it. I’m at a loss as to what this could be. Is it the battery? The computer? Any ideas?

 

You need a new battery more than likely, but I would take the battery by a parts supply store and they will usually load test it for you for free.
