Default 1992 b2600i idle, bac, and enrichment screw settings?

So I bought this gem a few yrs ago and have always had a wierd issue with the vehicle wanting to stall when downshifting to a stop, vehicle in any gear, and only in any gear.....when I press the clutch and let the rpm fall naturally from about 2500 or higher.....I am wondering if it has to do with the adjustment screw on the back side of the throttle body that apparently is not supposed to be adjusted....I am certain it has been though....alldata just tells me not to touch it with no proper procedure how to set it ....as apparently it is flow tested and set from factory....I also have the blue factory manual and no sign of adjustment in there either......hope someone has some insight.....right now back is just unplugged and idle set a bit high with zero driveability issues.....but hoping to fix it proper

Thanks

Hello Meandmyz......your Clutch Switch is more than likely BROKEN!

Take a look through this thread here:

https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...uddenly-53076/

If you do find that this is your issue (I think it is!) then reply to your thread here (instead of the linked thread I posted)......that way other members in the future can follow it easier.

Let us know what you find out!

I had tried unplugging the clutch switch last yr and also jumping the pins on it with no difference ....I also don't understand the logic for the pcm that would cause that stumble...I will be going to the shop today to work on this rig today to hopefully get this sorted....I also realized and can't remember if I grounded out the test pin when I adjusted the idle or if I only did it when I adjusted the timing but I will go figure it out and post what I find for sure.......thanks

I encourage you to remove your Clutch Switch and open it up! If the plunger is broken, or the small spring inside of it is broken.......it ain't working!!

Clutch Switch looks like this:
