Default 1991 B2200 turn signal issue

Noticed this morning that both front turn signal lights were not working, picked up and installed two fresh bulbs with no change (bought this truck used last year)
The rear brake lights, signals, and hazards work just fine, my headlights are not affected.
At this point I'm thinking I should replace my flasher relay but I'm having second thoughts considering my rear turn signal lights operate just fine. Am I headed in the right direction or should I be looking at something else?
Also have never done this before, is there anything I need to keep in mind when pulling and replacing the relay? A whole lotta plastic down there and I don't want to be ordering special parts if I don't need to, lol.

Relay is fine, as the rear lights work.

Have you checked for power & earth at the bulb sockets?

And check the connector harnesses on each side.

And this is a dumb question: you do realize that the turn signal lights are in the front bumper, not in the corner lights, right??? Behind the lenses.

Mine are in the corners with the lower-valence lights becoming daytime running lights (with clear lenses).

Easy mod to do.

I've never given thought to that, but agree would be straightforward.

Hey guys, first off my bad. I thought the corner marker lights were my signal lamps. Thanks to Cusser pointing this out to me. Replaced some bulbs (one of the actual signal bulbs was bad) and also replaced both marker housings as they were barely hanging on there (the internal plastic units and seals were toast, crumbled as I removed to check connections. Also replaced the pop-in anchors as those were toast too). Everything is working nominally now, my stupid mistake ended up pointing me towards a problem that needed fixing anyways. Thanks for the help and setting me straight, haha!

I wanted people to the side of me to see my turn signal is on, and that's hard to do when they're below the front bumper on the valence.

Did you replace with a socket for a dual filament bulb? Which bulb in the corner light assembly did you modify, and which dual-filament bulb did you use? Thx.

Yes. The mod was on the old mazdatrucking.com site. Can't remember who wrote it up, but dremel out the old single filament socket in the corner assembly and JB Weld a dual filament socket in its place. It was pretty easy to do.

I use an LED "switchback" bulb that turns amber when the turn signal is activated, and then goes back to white when it's not. This way, the corner lights and valence lights are white daytime running lights when not activating the turn signal.

I also am using load resistors to avoid hyper flash.
