I just bought a 97 626 with engine light on. Previous owner (only owner) says its been doing it since he bought it. Said he took it to the dealership and they couldn't figure out what was wrong and just reset the light. I removed the negative battery wire which reset the light. I drove it for a day and a half (about 50-60 miles) and the light came back on. I went to autozone to have them read the code for me and it came back P0400 or EGR system malfunction. A new EGR is $190. I can't see to find the EGR on my car. Can someone help (with pictures maybe?) What can I check with meter before replacing the valve? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jason
