Looking for the EGR valve on a 2.5 v6. Can't seem to find it, does it not look like a typical UFO style? Got the intake off.

 

i have a '98 626 with the 2.5....the egr is located under the intake on the driver's side.....does not look like a standard egr...it has a wiring harness attached.....it can be replaced without intake removal......it is hard to locate....i know i've been there....see if you can look at a new one to see what it look's like.......i ended up taking my car to a dealer to get it replace....ouch!!!!!......850 buck's for a replacement and to clean the induction system.....i could have done it myself..if i knew were it was at the time......good luck
