626-1991-2.2-16V SEDAN

I HAVE GOT A SCREAMING 626, WHEN STARTING FROM COLD ALWAYS SCREAMS, IF I TURN THE ENGINE OFF AND BACK ON A COUPLE OF TIMES IT WILL GO, AND SOMETIMES WHILE I AM DRIVING THE REVS DROP SHARPLY AND THE CAR STARTS SCREAMING WITHOUT ANY WARNING, ALSO AT TIMES IT WILL TRY AND CUT OUT AND THE CAR STARTS JYUMPING, ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT, WHEN I PICK UP MY YOUNGEST FROM SCHOOL AND IT HAPPENS SHE GETS VERY EMMBARRASED AND SHOUTS AT ME TO TURN IT OFF.

Sounds like the altenator/p/s pump/a/c compressor bearing etc is trying to lock up. Or maybe just a loose belt. Anyway. Check the belt tension and condition. If you find no problem with the drive belts or related components that the belt is turning then it could be a timing belt tensioner bearing under the timing cover.
