My backup light doesn't work.

I looked through a "Haynes" shop manual and was unable to figure out whether there is a reverse switch inside the tranny (I just had the tranny rebuilt) or whether there is a switch in the shifter that may have gone south.

Any suggestions?

 

If it is a manual, there is a switch on the right side of the trans.. If iit is an automatic, it is inside the range switch.

I would take it back to the shop to have it looked at if you just had it serviced, in my opinion.

 

hmmmm.... me thinks the trany guy forgot to plug somethig back in (my tranny is an auto).
