Default OBD1 diagnostics fuse location??

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've found these forums the most helpful when it comes to mysterious car

So with that being said, here's my dilemma I bought a OBD 1 and 2 diagnostic tool to test my 1996 Mazda 626. Waiting for the week to get this thing, plug it in and nothing. I'm hoping it's a fuse for the diagnostics, but I have no idea which fuse it could be if that's the problem at
anybody have any idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Find a parts store that does diagnostic code checks, get them to try your car, this will tell you if its a fault with your car or poor quality test tool purchased.
