I have a 91 Mazda 626. It shuts off when I'm waiting at the light sometimes.It used to just crank right up,but lately I have to turn the key several times to get it to start back up. Battery is new,Alternator checks out fine, so does the starter. When it idles it sounds like it's missing a beat.Now the hold system light is blinking on/off sometimes, not every time. Any ideas?[sm=thanx.gif]

 

it may sound like you need a new distributor by the sound of it, check the compression might have a bad piston or head problem, check with compression test first
