No spark
I have a 1991 1600 323 which has lost it's spark, the garage said I need a new component in the distributor,( it's a black plastic block with two wires coming from it) but they say it might take several weeks to get one so what I need to know is what is this unit called and does anyone know where I might get one please?? any help would be much appreciated

Probably the part is the ignitor. While the part has been known to fail, in my case it wasn't the problem of no spark. A more common cause of no spark is the carbon button on the underside of the distributor cap wears down. Replace the distributor cap and rotor and most likely you will have spark again.

The two arrowed parts are what I am looking for, local Mazda agent said there were none in the country so could take several weeks, I have tried the breakers on the net but no luck, can anyone please help??
