Hi I needed some help

My mazda doesnt have a factory fitted stereo. someone who had the car before me must have got a aftermarket one put in so this shouldnt be a hard job. I currently had a jvc kd s7r head unit in my car which I have taken out due to getting a new one.

i have pulled the jvc head unit out and I took 2 wires out of the back which were an aerial wire and power cord.

I have bought a new KENWOOD KDC 237SG head unit. Would I just put the same wires that I pulled out of my old head unit and stick them in the new head unit? Or would I need to do something else?

I would really appreciate help with this
