Default lcd clock 1997 323C

Hi Guys,

I havea '97 323c and the lcd clock in the dash is not working properly, it does'nt keep the time and it looks really faint most of the time, It will come on fully from time to time though only intermitently. I tried to look for a fuse that it works off though I did'nt find it. I seem to recall this first occuring when the radiator blew dueto a faulty water pump though it may have nothing to do with it, then again I have no idea of the wiring pattern in this car so maybe it did damage something electrical.Could this be a problem with the wiring or the clock itself? Is it hard to/ how do Iremove the dashboard panel to remove the clock to check if it works independent of the cars wiring system?

Thanks Guys!
