Default Clunking sound in front end when braking

Hi all

I have a 91 Mazda 323 hatch with a bg5 engine. Everytime time i brake, a clunk sound comes from presumably the suspension or brakes. The "clunk" can be felt on the brake pedal, which depresses slightly following the clunk. Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx, Sheng

the hardware probably fell out, not really a problem just annoying, it usually does it if you go from backward to forward
