Hey, n00b here. i may be inheriting my parent's 626 soon and the transmission is a goner...
its an automatic and the clutches arent grabbing (top speed right now is around 45 :P) So... my question is; since the tranny needs to come out, how hard would it be to swap it with a manual, and what are all the parts i would need? (I.E. steering rack, specific cv's, etc) i know an engine code helps so i will go find that out real quick.
Thanks, i absolutely despise autos, and i may be parting out my camaro (v-6 auto, nobody wants it) and i would love to cruise around in a manual.

 

it may depend on the year, but im pretty sure the 93-97 models have different blocks for the manuals and automatics respectively.
