Default 97 Mazda 626 engine problem

97 Mazda 626 V6 with 130k miles. Starts and runs fine until gets to the working temperature. After that starts jerking on low RPM, at traffic lights RPM’s drop 30-40% sporadically and acceleration is bad until about 40 miles/hour, after that something kicks in and she flies. On highway, jerks at low RPM driving uphill.
Anyone can help?

Sure does sound like a bad set of spark plug wires and spark plugs from the description.

Replaced the spark plugs two days ago. The old ones didn’t look too bad, but the gap was way off on a few. The engine works beautifully so far, no jerking, no hesitation.
Thanks, babyhuey!
