i have a 94 626 4cyl and i just replaced the air intake gasket and now me engine light comes on at random times, like when idleing it will be on and then i push the gas and it turns off and then while coasting at a steady speed it will come on again, and whil on the freeway ill hold my foot in 1 position and the car will start to loose speed for no reason ( while engine light is on) until i push the gas and it would jerk a that moment, im needing some help with this issues asap any suggestions , im thinking the (tps) throttle position sensor) what about you

I have yet to see a bad TPS on one but it is possible. I would clean the MAF hotwire and EGR. Crawl under it and bang on the converter to see if it rattles inside. They can break up and cause strange symptoms. Could be a host of things but that would be my starting point. Things like plugwires/basic tune need to be inspected.
