Hey guys, just found this forum and Im very glad. I have inherited a 1987 Mazda 929 (4 cylinder) with a new motor but a blown autogearbox.I have a completedonor car, (an '85coupe) to do the swap. However, the coupe is a 5 speed manual. I feel confident doing the gearbox swap, though I'm clueless when it comes to auto electrics.

My question is mainly about theelectronics relating to the auto. The auto is an electronic overdrive, so will I need to swap computers as part of the swap, and how difficult is this?

Any tips, pitfallsand advice would be greatly appreciated.
